Warden's Edge Terms of Service
Version 1.2 · 4 October 2026
In short
- Warden's Edge is free to play. You can also buy things, including gear that makes your Warden stronger.
- Everything you get, bought or earned, is yours to use in Warden's Edge. It has no cash value, and you can't trade or sell it, or your account.
- Telegram and Discord are separate: your progress and purchases stay where you got them.
- Play fair: no cheats, bots or bug exploits.
- We never weaken things you bought to balance the game. If we ever have to change one, we tell you first (section 12).
- Chat and names follow our Community Rules, and a person reads every report.
- You can stop playing, or ask us to delete your account, at any time.
- Dutch law applies, and you keep the consumer rights of the country you live in.
The full terms below are what count.
1. Who we are
Warden's Edge is made, run and sold by CroSum, a business registered in the Netherlands ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means you, the player.
| Address | Beneluxflat 19, 4701 BD Roosendaal, the Netherlands |

2. What these terms cover
These terms apply whenever you play Warden's Edge, in Telegram (with its bot) or in Discord.
Four other documents go with them:
- the Community Rules: the rules for the chat and for names. They are part of these terms;
- the Terms of Sale: the rules for buying. They become part of our agreement when you buy something;
- the Refund Policy: a short guide to refunds;
- the Privacy Policy: what personal data we use, and why.
By playing Warden's Edge you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.
3. Telegram and Discord
- You play Warden's Edge inside Telegram or Discord, so their rules apply too:
- Telegram: its Terms of Service, its Mini Apps terms, and its terms for Telegram Stars when you pay;
- Discord: its Terms of Service, Paid Services Terms and Community Guidelines.
- Telegram and Discord are not responsible for Warden's Edge, and they are not part of this agreement. The one exception: when you buy something in Discord, Discord is the seller (see the Terms of Sale).
- We don't control Telegram or Discord. If they change or stop their service, parts of Warden's Edge may stop working there.
4. Who can play
- You must be old enough to use Telegram or Discord under their own terms (section 3).
- Under 18? Read these terms with a parent or guardian: they agree to them for you, and you need their OK before you buy anything.
- The first time you open the Store or the chat, we ask for your month and year of birth, once. Please answer honestly: we use it to set the game up for your age. Until you answer, you can't buy anything.
- If you are under 13, you can look around the Store but not buy. From your answer on, Warden's Edge plays on that device only, for good: your progress is copied to it, and we delete your account and your Telegram or Discord id from our server the same day. Leagues and the chat aren't available there.
- Warden's Edge is not offered in Brazil.
- In Telegram, the Store sells only in the 27 countries of the European Union. Elsewhere you can play and look around the Store, but not buy.
- Until our opening day, only the testers we invite can sign in. Others can try Warden's Edge on their device, but nothing they earn is kept.
5. Your game account
- There is no separate Warden's Edge password: your game account is linked to your Telegram or Discord account.
- Telegram and Discord are separate. Your progress, items and Crowns stay on the platform where you got them.
- Your account is for you alone. Don't share, lend or sell it, and don't use someone else's.
- Keep your Telegram or Discord account safe. If you think someone else has used your game account, tell us at support@crosum.app.
6. Your licence to play
- We give you a licence to play Warden's Edge for your own fun, not for business, as these terms allow. It is yours alone: you can't pass it on, and every other player gets the same. It lasts until you or we end it (section 14).
- We, and those who license material to us, own Warden's Edge: its code, art, sound, names and everything else in it. These terms give you no other rights in it.
- You may share screenshots and videos of your play, including on streams and in videos that earn you money, as long as you don't suggest that we endorse you.
7. Items, currencies and unlocks
Warden's Edge has:
- Crowns, the premium currency. You can buy them, and the game also gives some for free;
- Shards, which you earn only by playing. Shards are never sold, and nothing you buy includes them;
- items: gear, Writs, looks, Season pass rewards and everything else the game gives you;
- unlocks that you buy once with Crowns and keep, such as 2x speed.
While the Terms of Sale page says the Store is not open yet, nothing can be bought. How you pay. In Telegram you pay in Telegram Stars. In Discord, Discord sells nine things for money: five Crown packs and four Milestone deals. The Season pass's premium track and 2x speed are bought with Crowns.
The same rules apply to all of it, bought or earned:
- A licence, not property. You may use it in Warden's Edge, under these terms, but you don't own it the way you own money or a thing.
- No cash value. It can't be swapped for money or for anything outside Warden's Edge, and we don't buy it back. This doesn't affect your refund rights under the Terms of Sale.
- No trading. You can't trade, sell, give, lend or transfer it to anyone, and nobody may buy or sell it, or a Warden's Edge account, anywhere.
- Crowns don't expire.
- We can correct mistakes. We may remove items or Crowns that you got by cheating, through a bug or an obvious error on our side, or with a payment that was later refunded or reversed (the Terms of Sale say what we take back).
8. Random rewards
Some rewards in Warden's Edge are random: for example the loot you find while playing, the Forge, Forge tokens and Temper. Temper re-rolls an item's unlocked bonuses at random, within ranges the game shows before you Temper; it never changes a locked bonus. The game also shows the Forge's odds.
Nothing you can buy, with money or with Crowns, has random contents. The Forge, Forge tokens and Temper work only with Shards and tokens that you earn by playing, and these can't be bought. A Writ, which you can buy, is not random: it unlocks an item's next locked bonus, exactly as the item's card shows it.
9. Playing fair
You must not:
- use cheats, bots, scripts, macros or other automation, or a modified version of Warden's Edge;
- tamper with, fake or replay the data the game sends to our servers, including run results;
- exploit bugs. If you find one, please tell us at support@crosum.app or through the game's feedback;
- use more than one account to collect extra rewards or to influence leagues;
- attack, overload or probe our servers, or get around the limits we set, including country restrictions;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer Warden's Edge, except where the law allows it;
- use Warden's Edge, or the feedback you send us, to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or to break the law;
- use the chat or your name to break our Community Rules.
How we check. Our server checks each run before it hands out rewards. A run that fails the check earns nothing. If you think we got it wrong, contact us and a person will look at it.
What we may do. If you break these rules, we may, depending on how serious it is:
- warn you;
- remove what you gained by it;
- correct or remove your league results, or keep you out of leagues;
- restrict your chat or your name (section 15);
- suspend or close your account.
A chat penalty limits chat and names only. It never touches your progress or purchases.
We tell you what we did and why, unless the law stops us, and you can object by contacting us.
10. Leagues
- Leagues group players and rank them each week, on the week's Infinite runs. The game shows how moving up and down works. League rewards are Shards.
- Your gear counts in leagues, including gear you bought. So spending can affect where you place.
- Other players see you in leagues under the name you chose, or as "Warden" and a number, never your Telegram or Discord name.
- We may correct results that cheating or a bug affected.
11. Daily rewards and seasons
- Daily calendar: there is a reward for each day. If you don't open Warden's Edge on a given day, that day's reward is gone. A day runs from midnight to midnight in your own time zone, as your device gives it.
- Season pass: each season lasts 8 weeks. The free track is open to everyone. The premium track is bought with Crowns.
12. Changes to the game
Warden's Edge keeps changing. We may add, change or remove content and features, such as stages, monsters, difficulty, drop rates, free rewards, the Store, leagues and the prices of future purchases. We do this for game balance, bug fixes, security, new content, the law, or changes made by Telegram or Discord. We announce big changes in advance whenever we can, in the game or in the Warden's Edge Discord server.
We never weaken things you bought. A bought item keeps doing what its description said when you bought it. We balance the game through stages and rewards, never by making bought items worse.
If we ever have to change something you bought, for example because the law requires it, we tell you first. If the change affects your access to it, or your use of it, in more than a small way, you may end the contract for that item within 30 days of the change (or of our telling you, if that is later), and we refund what you paid for it in full. Contact us to do this.
Refunds for things bought in Telegram are paid in Stars. For things bought in Discord, Discord is the seller, and only Discord can pay money back: ask Discord at dis.gd/billing.
13. When Warden's Edge is unavailable
- We work to keep Warden's Edge running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, updates, server problems and Telegram or Discord outages can interrupt it.
- If our server can't be reached, you may still be able to play, but runs may not earn rewards, and you can't buy anything.
- Your progress, items and Crowns are kept on our server. An unfinished run saved on your device may be lost, for example if your phone clears its storage.
- This section doesn't limit your legal rights when something you bought doesn't work (see the Terms of Sale).
14. Ending this agreement
You can stop playing at any time. You can also ask us to delete your account and data, by writing to support@crosum.app. Deleting is permanent: you lose your progress, items and Crowns, bought ones too. Before we delete, we tell you about any purchase you can still withdraw from.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you commit fraud, if you break the Community Rules in the most serious ways they name, or if the law requires it. We act in proportion, we tell you why unless the law stops us, and you can object. If we close your account because you seriously broke these terms, you lose access to your items and Crowns, bought ones too, as far as the law allows.
If we close your account when you did nothing wrong, we refund your unspent bought Crowns and the unused part of any Season pass you bought. For Crowns bought in Discord, only Discord can pay money back (section 12).
If Warden's Edge closes. If we decide to stop running Warden's Edge, we tell you in the game at least 60 days in advance, and we stop selling at once. We refund bought Crowns that are still unspent if you bought them in the 90 days before we announced the closure, and the unused part of a Season pass bought with them.
15. Chat, names, reports and our contact point
15.1 Chat and names
- The chat is optional, and off until you switch it on. You can switch it off at any time.
- Players of 18 and over can type messages. Players of 13 to 17 use quick chat only: ready-made messages. Under 13, there is no chat. Typing opens after 15 minutes of play.
- Everyone 13 and over can choose a name. Please don't use your real name, or a name you use on another app.
15.2 Community Rules
Our Community Rules are part of these terms. They say what is allowed in messages and names, how our filter and moderators work, what happens when a rule is broken, and how to report something or contest a decision.
15.3 How we moderate
Before anyone sees a message or a name, our own automatic filter, inside our own server, checks it. No outside company reads your messages. The filter can get it wrong both ways, and a person reads every report. We look at messages only for moderation, for safety, and when the law requires it.
15.4 What we may do
In proportion to what happened, and with regard for everyone's freedom of expression, we may:
- block a message before it is sent (automatically);
- pause your chat for 10 minutes after 3 blocked messages within 10 minutes (automatically);
- pause your typing for 24 hours after 2 messages blocked in a day for personal questions, sexual words or threats, or 3 with contact details, links or scams too (automatically; quick chat still works, and a person checks it the same day);
- switch the whole chat to quick chat, or read-only, for a while (a person decides, for example during a flood of messages or a raid);
- limit your chat to quick chat if other players report that you may be under 18, or a moderator sees it in the chat, and a person agrees;
- remove a message;
- mute you for a time;
- ban you from the chat;
- reset your name to a made-up one, and lock name changes for 30 days after a second reset within 30 days;
- in the most serious cases, close your account (section 14) and tell the police.
15.5 Reasons and contesting
Every restriction comes with its reason, and says whether a computer or a person decided. Tap Contest, or Wrongly blocked? under a message the filter didn't send, and a person looks at it again. You can also email support@crosum.app, or go to court.
15.6 Reporting
There is a Report button on every message and every name. Anyone, players or not, can also report content they think is illegal to support@crosum.app: say what it is and where you saw it. We never tell anyone who reported. We look at every report carefully and without delay, and tell you what we decided and why.
15.7 Serious cases
When someone's life or safety is threatened, we tell the police.
15.8 Terrorist content
We remove terrorist content as soon as we find it, and within 1 hour of an order from an authority. We keep it for 6 months, as the law requires, and tell the person who posted it, unless the authority tells us not to.
15.9 Our contact point
support@crosum.app is our contact point for players and for authorities, under the EU's Digital Services Act and its rules on terrorist content online. You can write to us in English or Dutch.
15.10 Feedback
The feedback you send from the game is read by us, and by the AI assistant that helps us (see the Privacy Policy). It is never shown to other players. We may delete feedback that breaks section 9.
16. Our liability
- We are liable for damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury we cause. Nothing in these terms limits that.
- Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights when something you bought is not as described or doesn't work.
- Apart from that, and only as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen;
- we are not liable for loss caused by Telegram, Discord, Apple, Google, your device or your internet connection;
- we are not liable for losing free items or progress because of events outside our reasonable control, such as a platform outage;
- our total liability to you is limited to whichever is higher: what you paid us in the 12 months before the event, or €100.
17. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms, for example when the game, the law or platform rules change.
- For important changes, we tell you in the game at least 30 days before they take effect. Small fixes, such as clearer wording, can take effect at once.
- Changes to the Community Rules are announced in the game before they apply, and the chat asks you to accept them again.
- If you don't agree with a change, you can stop playing and ask us to delete your account before it takes effect.
- A change never applies to something you bought before it, if that would put you in a worse position.
What changed in version 1.2 (4 October 2026). It replaces version 1.1, which went online on 4 October 2026 (dated 12 October 2026, the day we planned to open to everyone). In section 15, the chat, the changes are the same as those in version 1.1 of the Community Rules, which the chat asks every player to accept before they chat again:
- typing opens after 15 minutes of play (the real time your runs took), not after 3 finished runs (15.1);
- everyone 13 and over can type a name; a name of a player of 13 to 17 can't say their age, birth year or school year (15.1 and the Community Rules);
- a person may limit your chat to quick chat if other players report that you may be under 18, or a moderator sees it (15.4);
- typing is paused for 24 hours after several messages are blocked in a day for personal questions, sexual words, threats, contact details, links or scams, and a person checks it the same day; a person may switch the whole chat to quick chat, or read-only, for a while (15.4);
- a typing pause says which blocks started it; Wrongly blocked? is a way to contest too, and a wrong block lifts the pause (15.5 and the Community Rules);
- everywhere: plainer wording and a short summary at the top; no change in what we do.
18. Complaints, law and courts
- Complaints: email support@crosum.app. We reply within 3 working days.
- Law: Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer laws.
- Courts: you can bring a claim in the courts of the Netherlands, or in the courts of the place where you live. If we bring a claim against you, we do so in the courts of the place where you live.
- Help outside court: we are not part of an out-of-court dispute resolution scheme. If we can't settle a complaint with you, we tell you which dispute resolution body could handle it, and whether we will take part.
19. Other things
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a rule straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- If another company takes over running Warden's Edge (for example one we set up for it), this agreement goes with it, and your rights under it stay the same. You can't pass this agreement on to someone else.
- These terms are written in English.
