About the game
Short
Warden's Edge is a tower defence roguelite, played inside Telegram and Discord. Monsters march on the Warden's keep; he holds the wall by himself, and each level you pick one of three cards to choose how he grows. Four chapters, twelve bosses, gear to forge, and weekly leagues in Infinite.
Long
Warden's Edge is a tower defence roguelite, played inside Telegram and Discord, with nothing to install. You are the Warden, an old wizard alone on the wall of his keep. Monsters come from the right, and if they break the wall, the run is over. His attack and spells fire by themselves; your part is the choice. Every time the XP bar fills, the game pauses and you pick one of three cards: a new spell or a stronger one, from Lightning Bolt and Meteor to Ice Spikes and Rend, three slots at a time.
The campaign has four chapters, one monster family each: slimes, goblins, ogres and spiders, fifteen stages and three bosses apiece. Gear makes the Warden stronger and shows on him: find it in runs, raise it a rarity step with a Writ, re-roll its bonuses with Temper, or forge something new. In Infinite there is no clock: the monsters keep coming until the wall breaks, and your best time each week places you in a league, from Bronze to Diamond.
